With the 32nd edition of the Monaco Yacht Show six weeks away, we take a look at what is in store for this year’s attendees in Monte Carlo\u2026<\/h2>\n

Tickets are now on sale<\/a>\u00a0for this year\u2019s Monaco Yacht Show<\/a>, which takes place from the 27th to 30th of September. So far, the exhibition will feature 94 boats over 30m, 50 tenders and 447 exhibitors as it welcomes thousands of attendees to Port Hercule next month.<\/p>\n

As the yacht list continues to grow, we will be covering entrants to the show in the lead-up to MYS 2023\u00a0 in extensive detail. In the meantime, here are a few early highlights from this year’s yacht list.<\/p>\n

Fresh from an extensive refit earlier this year, 97m\u00a0Carinthia VII<\/a>\u00a0<\/em> from L\u00fcrssen will be\u00a0available to view with Fraser Yachts<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Another L\u00fcrssen legend will be in attendance too. The\u00a095m Kismet<\/em><\/a>\u00a0is available\u00a0courtesy of Cecil Wright & Partners<\/a>, with the asking price of a cool \u20ac149m.<\/p>\n

The iconic Savannah<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>will also be in attendance with Edmiston<\/a>.\u00a0Launched by Feadship<\/a>\u2019s De Vries shipyard in 2015, Savannah<\/em> is one of the most spectacular vessels afloat.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s show will also have a large focus on the industry\u2019s environmental consciousness, with last year’s Sustainability Hub making a return to Monte Carlo. Made in collaboration with Water Revolution Foundation<\/a> and sponsored by Siemens Energy, the 200m\u00b2 exhibition space of Darse Sud is dedicated to nautical equipment and technology with innovative and eco-friendly solutions.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs organizers, we’re actively taking steps to reduce the show’s carbon footprint through a carbon neutrality programme that’s backed by the Principality of Monaco and Informa Group,\u201d Johan\u00a0Pizzardini,\u00a0 Head of Communications and Media, MYS tells SuperyachtNews.\u00a0 \u201cWhat’s impressive is that these sustainable advancements aren’t just a passing trend \u2013 they’re being embraced by everyone involved in yacht building and seamlessly integrated into recent launches.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Monaco Yacht Show has been at the forefront of raising environmental awareness since joining the Carbon Neutral program in 2005,\u201d says Ga\u00eblle Tallarida, Managing Director of the MYS. \u201cOur pioneering approach to sustainability led to the establishment of the Sustainability Hub last year. As one of the industry’s major voices, we fully embrace our social responsibility.\u201d<\/p>\n

Participants are selected in collaboration with Water Revolution Foundation to ensure that only eligible companies with genuine and viable sustainable solutions are included in the exhibition. Robert Van Tol, Executive Director, Water Revolution Foundation says that the return of the initiative highlights the growing momentum in yachting towards more sustainable practices.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe show has been supportive of the vetting criteria, demonstrating its leading position in the field, and utilising Water Revolution Foundation’s expertise in sustainability,\u201d says Van Tol. \u201cThis exhibition area is designed to showcase technologies that bring concrete improvements to the world of yachting, including the health of the oceans. We aim to support exhibitors, service providers, and visitors alike in finding viable solutions to environmental challenges.”<\/p>\n

The Adventure Area has made a return too, with a thematic exhibition dedicated to adventure, exploration, and leisure yachting activities. The area will feature an extensive showcase of superyacht tenders, luxurious off-road vehicles, cutting-edge water toys, high-tech gadgets and helicopters to the most remote corners of our planet.<\/p>\n

The exhibition will again span across two locations within Port Hercule. At Quai Antoine Ier, visitors will find the display of luxury vehicles, tenders, and water toys while Quai Jarlan will display around twenty tenders annually as the second site.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith a generational shift taking place in the superyacht world, a younger audience is embracing excitement, and the most successful charters are now those offering an array of toys,\u201d adds Pizzardini. \u201cThis adventure-focused spotlight aligns seamlessly with the changing preferences of superyacht enthusiasts, further solidifying the Monaco Yacht Show’s status as an essential platform. With the inclusion of top-tier exhibitor offerings, the show continues to lead the way.\u201d<\/p>\n
