The 91.8-metre Feadship superyacht Feadship 1012<\/em> has been launched from the Makkum facility in the Netherlands. Notably, she is the first Feadship to carry full Hybrid Electric Class notation.<\/p>\n

Photo: Nick Smits \/ SuperYacht Times<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Construction on the Feadship <\/em>1<\/em>012<\/em> yacht began in 2020, with her bow seen for the first time in May 2022 when it was pulled from the shed at the CSR facility in Rotterdam. Her hull was later launched in December 2022 at the Slob yard and transported to Makkum, where it was joined to her superstructure.<\/p>\n

Photo: Tom van Oossanen<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Feadship 1012<\/em>\u00a0 features a design by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, alongside the owner’s design office, with naval architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects. \u00a0The steel and aluminium yacht was designed for a repeat client who came to the custom project with informed requests based on his long experience of yachting.<\/p>\n

Her striking bow is defined by the signature V-cut feature on both her port and starboard profiles.<\/p>\n

The owner opted for a spacious beach club, which occupies one-quarter of her lower deck length.<\/p>\n

As well as this, larger hatches can be seen further forward on the Feadship 1012<\/em>‘s superstructure, to conceal her 10-metre tenders, ski boat and various water toys.<\/p>\n

Her sundeck serves as an observation vantage point with a forward-facing sofa and sun loungers, while the aft deck is used for storing two rescue tenders.<\/p>\n

She carries full Hybrid Electric Class notation and comprises two main engines and shaft-driven fixed pitch propellers, coupled with PTO\/PTI electric motors of 560kW each and 1MW of Li-ion batteries.<\/p>\n

The top flagship spot at Feadship will soon be taken by the 118.8-metre Feadship 821<\/em> yacht, which is due to launch later this year. \"Feadship<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
