The 49.98-metre Heesen superyacht ALP<\/em> has been spotted on sea trials in the North Sea. Previously known as Project Jade<\/em>, ALP<\/em> is the third yacht in the popular Heesen 5000 Aluminium series.<\/p>\n

Sitting just below the 500 GT mark, ALP<\/em> was sold in February 2024, with Jim Evans of SuperYachtsMonaco introducing the buyer. Also known as YN 20350<\/em>, she is composed of aluminium and features a reverse sheer bow, that is said to improve visibility from the wheelhouse and accentuate her profile.<\/p>\n

ALP<\/em> features exterior design by Omega Architects and naval architecture by Van Oossanen Naval Architects. Her interior design comes from the design boards of Cristiano Gatto Design, who has designed her with a contemporary yet cosy feel.<\/p>\n

Her spacious, airy furnishings can be enjoyed by as many as 12 guests across her five staterooms. The owner\u2019s stateroom of ALP<\/em>is situated on the main deck forward, while the remaining guest staterooms consist of two double staterooms and two twin staterooms on the lower deck.<\/p>\n

In terms of performance, ALP<\/em> is powered by twin MTU IMO Tier III engines, offering her top speeds of 23 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles. Her high speeds are achieved thanks to the streamlined lightweight aluminium hull, which boasts an efficiency gain of 12 percent compared to the previous 50-metre Satori<\/em>\u00a0 (now Altair<\/em>) design.<\/p>\n

According to SYT iQ<\/em>, Heesen currently has several yachts in-build including the 67-metre superyacht Sparta<\/em>, launched in June 2023 and the 57-metre Project Setteesettanta<\/em>, whose keel was laid in December 2023.<\/p>\n
