The highlight of the superyacht calendar, every year the Monaco Yacht Show attracts the latest and greatest builds from around the world. Over 40 entries in the 50-metre-plus range have been confirmed, with the show set to return to Port Hercule from 25 to 28 September.<\/p>\n

This year’s headliner is a last-minute addition, with the announcement made a day before the show is set to begin. Golden Odyssey<\/em> was commissioned by Prince Khalid of Saudi Arabia as a replacement for his 80-metre Blohm+Voss superyacht of the same name. Exterior design is by Martin Francis, while her interiors have been styled by Alberto Pinto. A standout feature is the owner\u2019s private deck, which includes two master suites, a spa and wellness area with a steam room, Hammam, and treatment room, as well as a private terrace with dining areas, lounging spaces, and a Jacuzzi.<\/p>\n

Golden Odyssey<\/em> is now the largest yacht to have ever attended the Monaco Yacht Show.<\/p>\n

His new yacht reunites him with Reymond Langton Design for the interior, but the exteriors on the new build have been helmed by Nuvolari Lenard. She’s now one of the world’s most expensive yachts for charter, asking a staggering \u20ac3,000,000 per week with Cecil Wright & Partners. And no wonder, with a helipad, beauty salon, indoor and outdoor cinema, dance floor and gym at guests’ fingertips.<\/p>\n

Both the largest private yacht built in Spain and one of the world’s most expensive charter yachts, the superyacht is quite the feat for Freire as a commercial shipyard that has built only one private yacht in the past. Renaissance has <\/em>7,200 GT to play with and rises to the challenge with one deck dedicated to the owner and another to wellness, made complete with a sauna, ballet bar and a spacious gym with an equipment list that would “amaze an elite athlete” according to Burgess.<\/p>\n

Renaissance<\/em> is available for charter with Burgess from $3,000,000 per week.<\/p>\n

Luiz de Basto first dreamt up Dar<\/em>‘<\/em>s sinuous, shark-inspired design eight years before her delivery, while seated in his Miami office overlooking Biscayne Bay. Dar<\/em> features around 390 square metres of glass in her superstructure alone, not counting the doors and hull windows. Once inside, the result is said to be like floating in mid air. Standout features include an owner’s deck \u2013 complete with private saloon and Jacuzzi \u2013 as well as a wellness area, with Hammam, sauna and massage room. She won Motor Yacht of the Year at the 2019 World Superyacht Awards and was recently selected to be BOAT International<\/em>‘s charter yacht of the week. The superyacht is making her return to the Monaco Yacht Show after first appearing in Port Hercule shortly after delivery.<\/p>\n

A cruising range of 5,000 nautical miles and provisions storage for up to five months means that Bold<\/em> can certainly handle going off the grid. But, with her huge toy locker and open aft deck that functions as a waterside chillout zone, the superyacht really thrives in warmer climes. She is a popular charter yacht, with a variety of watertoys and a vast outdoor entertaining area complete with a bar and Teppanyaki grill, a cinema, an eight-person hot tub and a lounge surrounding a firepit.<\/p>\n

Bold<\/em> is available for charter with Hill Robinson from \u20ac875,000 per week.<\/p>\n

Aalto<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Accommodation is provided for a party of 12 in eight cabins, with her owner’s suite taking up almost half of the upper deck and boasting two Jacuzzis and a Portuguese bridge. Aalto<\/em> has had numerous refits, most recently in 2022 and 2024.<\/p>\n

She can sleep twelve guests across six cabins, including an owner’s cabin with a clawfoot bed, lime marble en suite and 180-degree ocean views. Standout features include a piano lounge and a cinema suite, while her beach club boasts a dedicated spa with a sauna, steam room, plunge pool and massage room. Amaryllis<\/em> last underwent a major refit in 2019 and will be looking fresh on the docks during the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show.<\/p>\n

A series of photographs released in August 2024 offered a first glimpse at the elusive flagship, including a soft, sculptural exterior by Igor Lobanov, an infinity pool on the aft deck, a helipad and a sundeck bar. Her undisclosed interiors are owed to Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, while naval architecture has been completed by Azure Yacht Design and Naval Architecture.<\/p>\n

Tasked with a brief to “defy convention and find ways to connect with the ocean”, naval architect Espen \u00d8ino and interior designer Fran\u00e7ois Zuretti came together to create Ene<\/em><\/a>r<\/em>gy<\/em><\/a>. <\/em>The design duo first worked together on Blohm <\/a>& Voss<\/a>‘ 74.5-metre Eco<\/em>, now Zeus<\/em>, with Martin Francis in the 1980s. The superyacht has an impressive volume of 2,885GT which houses accommodation for 14 guests, an upper deck aft pool, a spacious gym, a large beach club with spa and a glass elevator, to name a few. She has only been used privately since new and was recently selected as BOAT International<\/em>‘s brokerage boat of the month.<\/p>\n

Her streamlined exterior and elongated bow sprung from the boards of Espen \u00d8ino, while her rich, ambient interiors are by Danielo Silvestrin. Dragonfly<\/em>‘s outdoor cinema, large sunpad that can convert into a dance floor and swim platform \u2013 dubbed the “ultimate toy launchpad” by the broker \u2013 are the major crowd pleasers. She was also commended for her contribution to the disaster relief effort in Vanuatu after Hurricane Pam devastated the island in 2015.<\/p>\n

Her interiors were custom built by German luxury outfitter Fitz and feature accommodation for up to 16, including an owner’s suite with balconies and a VIP cabin with a private outdoor space on the bridge deck. Exterior and interior relaxation options are also plentiful, including a large beach club designed for use in both warm and cool climates and a sundeck spa pool. Planet Nine<\/em> recently underwent a comprehensive refit and is best known to the public for her starring role in Christopher Nolan’s time-bending thriller Tenet<\/em>. She will be the largest explorer yacht attending the Monaco Yacht Show.<\/p>\n

Wayfinder<\/h2>\n

Delivered in 2021, Wayfinder<\/em> is the second unit in the Shadowcat series and builds on the capability of the shipyard’s flagship catamaran, Hodor<\/em>, which was delivered in 2019. With a 14-metre beam, Wayfinder<\/em> has plenty of space for a helicopter deck \u2013 doubling as a pickleball court or events space \u2013 plus a hangar for an EC-145 and can store vast amounts of food supplies, dive equipment and water toys. She also sports a fully-equipped medical suite, 12 individual staff cabins and quarters for 20 crew in 12 additional cabins. The superyacht is reportedly owned by the former managing director of Microsoft, Bill Gates.<\/p>\n

Wayfinder<\/em> is asking \u20ac55,000,000 with Edmiston.<\/p>\n

Sycara V<\/h2>\n

Accommodation is across seven cabins, with the bridge deck allocated to the owner \u2013 including a private aft deck for al fresco breakfasts. Exterior and interior design is owed to Craig Beale of Pure Detail, based in Australia.<\/p>\n

Sycara V<\/em> is asking $565,000 per week with IYC.<\/p>\n

Loon<\/h2>\n

The Instagram-famous superyacht Loon<\/em> (ex Icon<\/em>) is sure to draw the crowds in Port Hercule this year. She was delivered in 2010 as the flagship of the Dutch shipyard, with an exterior design by RWD and clean, contemporary interiors by Studio Linse. A raised main deck pool is one of her many highlights with two panels of glass that filter natural light into the beach club below. A bar, gym, massage room and sauna are also found at this level. Loon<\/em> was sold to a new owner in April 2023, after which she joined the charter fleet.<\/p>\n

Loon <\/em>is available for charter with IYC from \u20ac540,000 per week.<\/p>\n

Calex<\/h2>\n

The American owners of Calex<\/em> previously owned a string of Westports, until they decided they wanted a “50-metre on steroids”. Westport was unable to oblige at the time, and a visit on board a friend’s yacht \u2013 the 61-metre Diamonds are Forever<\/em> \u2013 made them realise they wanted Benetti to build it. Calex <\/em>is a full-custom project, with the owner’s deck a definite highlight. It occupies 160 square metres and features a bar and a private, open-air lounge forward. The owners also requested that the crew quarters include materials and furnishings of a similar quality to those used in the guest accommodation. Exterior design is by Giorgio M. Cassetta.<\/p>\n

Details about Kasper 7<\/em> have been kept under wraps since her delivery in December 2023. Exterior design is owed to Giorgio M. Cassetta \u00a0and characterised by a straight bow and gently curved arches \u2013 with circular windows that set her apart from sisterships Calex<\/em> and Lady A<\/em> at a glance. Interior design was completed by Benetti in collaboration with Lebanese studio Ask Deco. Key numbers include a maximum speed of 16 knots, a 11.2-metre beam, and a volume of 1,250GT.<\/p>\n

Another elusive build, JAS<\/em>‘ launch was announced last month. Imagery is unreleased but renderings reveal masculine lines and asymmetric glazing in a similar style to the 65-metre Life Saga<\/em>, delivered in 2019. JAS<\/em> also has the same interior designer \u2013 British studio Mark Berryman. The layout is arranged over five decks and includes “extremely versatile hybrid zones” with sliding glass walls that can be adapted to the needs of the guests, the time of day and the weather conditions. Large hatches and fold-down balconies also increase the usable space while creating dedicated areas for specific functions, including exercise, sunbathing and using various water toys.<\/p>\n

However, the superyacht is best known for her opulent interiors, including guest areas inlaid with mother of pearl and Crema Marfil stone. The sundeck is Lioness V<\/em>‘s social hub, arranged with al fresco dining, an automated golf Tee-It driving range, a plunge pool and sunpads and loungers galore. A cinema room, fully equipped gym, media room and study ensure that guests remain entertained in all seasons. She joined the market for the first time in September 2023.<\/p>\n

Lioness V<\/em> is asking \u20ac45,000,000 with Camper & Nicholsons and Merle Wood & Associates.<\/p>\n

Sealion<\/h2>\n

Meanwhile, a cinema room in the skylounge and her two-level sundeck \u2013 complete with a bar, Jacuzzi, sunpads and mist options \u2013 are ready to entertain guests. The superyacht’s previous name, Candyscape II,<\/em>\u00a0alludes to her eclectic interiors courtesy of Candy & Candy studio. Highlights include a spectacular Schimmel glass grand piano in the main saloon and an ornate glass lift that links the lower deck to the bridge deck. She was recently selected as BOAT International<\/em>‘s charter yacht of the week.<\/p>\n

Queen Mavia<\/h2>\n

Marshall and interiors by Marshall and The A Group. 19 years later, a refit revitalised the Dutch build by extending her aft deck by six metres to accommodate a beach club, toy storage and swim platform, while the second and third decks were extended to offer more outdoor space. The helideck was also redesigned to accommodate a hot tub and a spa including a sauna room, massage room and gym. The bridge deck is reserved exclusively for the owner and features a private lounge and full onyx stone bathroom.<\/p>\n

Queen Mavia<\/em> is asking \u20ac34,900,000 with Fraser.<\/p>\n

What sets this superyacht apart is her owner’s cabin, fitted with a private deck and pool and an adjoining sky lounge, which can be converted into a family cinema. Another highlight of this yacht is the large Hammam and beach club, which has openings on three sides and a glass ceiling that filters natural light through the pool. Accommodation is for a party of 14 guests in seven cabins \u2013 one of which can be turned into a massage room.<\/p>\n

Lady Kathryn V<\/h2>\n

All builds were designed by Espen \u00d8ino, with Kathryn V<\/em> benefitting from a restyled exterior that can accommodate an additional deck beneath the arch mast. The yacht also has a hidden balcony in the owner’s suite and an extended bow and bathing platform that gives her an extra metre on her sisterships. Other highlights include indoor and outdoor cinemas, a Steinway baby grand piano and a wellness space with a gym, sauna and steam shower. She is a charter veteran, with a crew of 16 led by two rotational captains who have been chartering with Lady Kathryn V<\/em> for 35 years collectively.<\/p>\n

Entourage<\/h2>\n

Entourage<\/em> won big this year, cinching a BOAT International Design & Innovation Award and a Neptune at the World Superyacht Awards. While the first hull in the series, Come Together<\/em>, features distinctive geometric windows, the design team customised this second Amels 60 with long strips of glazing that allow additional light into the interior. Another noteworthy design choice is the extended bridge deck and sundeck which, first requested by the owner, has now been implemented in all subsequent builds. It was this “fantastic evolution” that swayed the judges, though they were also impressed by Entourage<\/em>‘s clever use of space, including her optimised storage.<\/p>\n
