PROJECT\u00a0821, 118m, Feadship<\/strong><\/p>\n

In May, Feadship launched PROJECT 821, the world\u2019s first hydrogen fuel cell-powered superyacht, marking a significant milestone in the superyacht industry. At 118.80m, PROJECT 821 is not only the largest yacht ever launched in the Netherlands, but also the first to employ hydrogen as a green alternative to traditional diesel propulsion. Designed by RWD, the yacht is powered by hydrogen fuel cells, producing only pure water as exhaust, and is equipped with an innovative cryogenic storage system for liquid hydrogen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In April, DRIZZLE, a 91.80m superyacht, made its debut by leaving Feadship’s construction shed in Makkum. Designed for a repeat Feadship owner, the yacht blends modern and classic elements with input from both the owner and the Sinot design office, and naval architecture by Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects. Its sleek exterior features crisply chamfered contours and a traditional flared bow, while the interiors are designed to provide cosy, intimate spaces that evoke a family home atmosphere. The yacht boasts impressive amenities, including a spectacular beach club spanning a quarter of the lower deck, with fold-down platforms creating a water-level lounging area of 165 sqm.<\/p>\n

In March, Feadship\u2019s 80m PROJECT 715 made a splash, revealing a striking, sleek exterior and a commitment to sustainable innovation. The yacht features an Ice II class design and is equipped with a Diesel-Electric-Battery-Solar propulsion system, allowing for zero carbon emissions for up to two days. While specific details about her design remain under wraps, the initial images highlight her expansive exterior spaces and large windows, ensuring a strong connection to the surrounding environment and an abundance of natural light.<\/p>\n

Amels 80, 80m, Damen\u00a0Yachting<\/strong><\/p>\n

August saw Damen Yachting announce the successful launch of the second Amels\u00a080, marking another significant milestone for the Dutch yard. This stunning vessel, set for delivery in 2026, showcases the exceptional build speed of Damen Yachting, with no compromise on quality. The Amels 80, a next-generation model in the Limited Editions series, features sophisticated exterior styling by Espen Oeino and elegant interiors by Sinot. The yacht can accommodate up to 14 guests and 20 crew members, underlining its luxury and versatility.<\/p>\n
