The 87-metre Feadship superyacht Lonian has completed her sea trials following a refit in the Netherlands with Feadship.
Lonian returned to the Netherlands for her five-year warranty check, an extensive repaint and some minor enhancements. Originally delivered in 2018, Lonian features interior design by Richard Hallberg Interior Design and Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design.
Feadship is yet to share any images of Lonian following her refit, but posted a short video to their Instagram, which shows the yacht cruising.
Lonian features a sleek and sophisticated exterior design with a masculine edge, penned by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, with naval architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects. She is characterised by a signature V-cut feature on her port and starboard sides, with an extensive use of stainless steel.
Her dramatic bow provides her with a powerful and muscular silhouette, paired with a wealth of glass across her superstructure. The main deck of Lonian is devoid of sidewalks and so crew and service traffic is diverted to the lower deck.
In terms of accommodation, Lonian can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests across a six stateroom configuration, as well as a separate captain’s cabin and 15 cabins for a crew of up to 27.
Among her notable features onboard are an extended aft deck boasting a beach club and a substantial pool running along the centreline, an outdoor gym and the ability to accommodate helicopter landings on the upper deck.
Lonian is frequently accompanied by her support vessel, Hodor, a substantial 1,582 GT multihull, which carries a fleet of five custom-designed tenders, recreational equipment, and landing craft.
Powered by a pair of twin diesel-electric 16V 4000 M73 MTU engines, generating a combined 5,916 horsepower, Lonian maintains a comfortable cruising speed of 12 knots.
