The 91.8-metre Feadship superyacht Feadship 1012 has been launched from the Makkum facility in the Netherlands. Notably, she is the first Feadship to carry full Hybrid Electric Class notation.
Photo: Nick Smits / SuperYacht TimesConstruction on the Feadship 1012 yacht began in 2020, with her bow seen for the first time in May 2022 when it was pulled from the shed at the CSR facility in Rotterdam. Her hull was later launched in December 2022 at the Slob yard and transported to Makkum, where it was joined to her superstructure.

The steel and aluminium yacht was designed for a repeat client who came to the custom project with informed requests based on his long experience of yachting.
Photo: Tom van OossanenThe exterior of Feadship 1012 was meticulously designed with very specific input from the owner, and her interior has been penned to mimic an understated family atmosphere to create a cosy home away from home.
Photo: Nick Smits / SuperYacht TimesShe features a masculine exterior profile which retains elegance, notably with her dark blue hull and white superstructure. Her striking bow is defined by the signature V-cut feature on both her port and starboard profiles.

Photo: Nick Smits / SuperYacht TimesThe first images of her show a large beach club and pool, with large square side hatches alongside her transom, which could indicate fold-down platforms and balconies. The owner opted for a spacious beach club, which occupies one-quarter of her lower deck length.

As well as this, larger hatches can be seen further forward on the Feadship 1012‘s superstructure, to conceal her 10-metre tenders, ski boat and various water toys.
Photo: Tom van OossanenThe stern platform has direct access via sweeping staircases on either side to the main deck aft that hosts a large pool and open-air lounge shaded by the deckhead overhang. Her sundeck serves as an observation vantage point with a forward-facing sofa and sun loungers, while the aft deck is used for storing two rescue tenders.

Photo: Tom van OossanenProject 1012’s propulsion plant and onboard energy management has been developed incorporating state-of-the-art Feadship technology. She carries full Hybrid Electric Class notation and comprises two main engines and shaft-driven fixed pitch propellers, coupled with PTO/PTI electric motors of 560kW each and 1MW of Li-ion batteries.
