Turkish builder Bilgin Yachts has announced the sale of another 52-metre Bilgin 170 model to a first-time client. The first two units are scheduled for delivery in 2025.

Built in aluminium, the semi-custom yacht is the result of a collaboration between Emrecan Özgün of Unique Yacht Design and Milanese interior designer Hot Lab.

The new model is based on the Bilgin 163, offering an identical layout with more space and a more traditional bow design. The bridge deck has been extended by one and a half metres, while the bow offers an additional relaxation area once the rescue boat is deployed. An extended swim platform also offers more space at the water’s edge.

“While [this sale] marks our first collaboration with the client, they have been closely observing Bilgin Yachts for the past four to five years,” explained commercial director of Bilgin Yachts, Berkay Yilmaz. “They’ve visited our shipyard and had the opportunity to explore vessels such as the 80-metre Tatiana and the 47.5-metre Moonraker (formerly known as Snow 5), leaving them impressed by the superior quality of our craftsmanship, interior design, and engineering, not to mention our overall design philosophy.”

Powered by twin CAT engines, the Bilgin 170 can reach a maximum speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 10 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles.

Bilgin has four yachts currently under construction – including the latest Bilgin 163. The third and fourth units in the Bilgin 170 series are scheduled for delivery in 2026.
