The 31.08-metre Numarine yacht A.Mey has been moved to a drydock following a collision with the 90.1-metre Lürssen superyacht Ice off the coast of Yalıkavak, in Bodrum, Turkey last Friday evening.
The Numarine 102 yacht A.Mey was hit last week by Ice, as videos on social media show the Lürssen superyacht cruising directly into the path ofA.Mey. Aftermath videos and images sent to SuperYacht Times by eyewitnesses show damage to the port side of the yacht at the time of the crash.
Videos taken during the incident show that the extendable platforms at the stern of Ice may have been open, suggesting that the superyacht may have been experiencing a technical or mechanical failure which caused the collision.
A.Mey is currently undergoing repair work on the dry dock in Yalıkavak, with sources close to the yacht saying that her upper deck is “completely torn off” and that the vessel has received “serious damage.”
A.Mey was launched in 2007 as part of the popular Numarine 102 series. She features Studio Arch. Tommaso Spadolini and Can Yalman, with naval architecture penned by Umberto Tagliavini – Marine Design & Services.
With 179 GT of internal volume, A.Mey can sleep up to 10 guests, with interior design penned by Studio Arch. Tommaso Spadolini. Performance-wise, she is powered by twin Caterpillar engines, providing her with a top speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots.

The 90.1-metre Lürssen superyacht Ice has collided with the 31.08-metre Numarine yacht A.Mey just off the coast of Yalıkavak, in Bodrum, Turkey.
Videos circulating on social media capture the motor yacht Ice cruising directly into the path of the Numarine 102 yacht A.Mey, ultimately colliding with her stern on the port side. A.Mey is then dragged a short distance in front, before being spun around the port side of Ice.
It is still unclear why the collision occurred, but images sent by an SYT Reader show damage to Ice‘s bow, as well as damage to the port side of A.Mey. Video footage obtained by SuperYacht Times also shows at least half a dozen people onboard the Numarinevessel at the time of the incident. No injuries have been reported at the time of publication.
Launched in 2005 as motor yacht Air, Ice was built under the project name Rainbow to a design by Tim Heywood. Her Terence Disdale interior offers accommodation for up to 14 guests across her seven lavish staterooms and boasts enough space for 27 crew members onboard.
