Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.9m beam and a 2.5m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the sixth yacht built on the design. Launched in May 2023 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Benetti's Livorno yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in July 2023.

Exterior Design

Alunya's stern features an infinity pool, positioned just inches above the waterline, offering guests a unique vantage point from which to appreciate the surrounding seascape while at anchor. This aft section deviates from conventional designs, providing a refreshing departure from the typical sterns seen on other vessels.

The yacht's distinctiveness is further accentuated by the side "wings" that flank the lounging area. These wings are engineered to fold down, creating additional leisure space that invites relaxation and social interaction. The use of space on the Alunya is intelligently designed to enhance the onboard experience, making it clear that this vessel is far from ordinary.

Alunya's exterior spaces are strategically planned to encourage communal activities and leisure. From the foredeck to the sundeck, guests can bask in the sun, while the Oasis Deck pool and observation area offer a prime spot for relaxation and social gatherings.

Interior Design

The use of warm maple wood throughout the saloon creates a serene environment conducive to relaxed conversation. The second lounge area doubles as a bar, featuring low-slung club chairs and backlit marble, combining functionality with a touch of sophistication.

Illumination within Alunya is strategically designed to enhance the interior's ambiance without being intrusive. The lighting complements the natural hues of the wood and marble, ensuring a harmonious balance between warmth and visibility. This approach extends to the dining areas, where guests can enjoy their meals in a well-lit, comfortable setting that encourages social interaction.

Accommodation

Alunya can accommodate up to 10 guests within its five suites, ensuring privacy and space for all on board. This arrangement is slightly below the typical 12-passenger capacity for yachts of similar size, demonstrating the owner's preference for a more intimate and family-oriented experience.

The master suite features a dedicated balcony with an overhead shower, allowing for an immersive and private connection with the sea. The design is centered around the concept of a sanctuary for the owners, providing them with a space that is both luxurious and personal.

Below decks, the guest accommodation comprises four guest staterooms. These cabins are mirror images of one another, all designed with the same attention to detail and comfort. They are strategically placed to maximize space and offer a welcoming atmosphere for family members or guests. The inclusion of an onyx-clad coffee bar located in the foyer outside the guest staterooms adds a touch of convenience and hospitality, encouraging guests to feel at home.

In terms of crew accommodation, Alunya is capable of carrying up to 10 crew members.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12-1400) 1,400hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Alunya is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 60,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,500 nautical miles at 12 knots.
